LG 2003 R

The gripper head module LG handling system is engineered to work with the LB, LL, and LR series or all by itself. The gripper module LG is suitable for a broad range of gripping applications.

Of the four gripper heads available, the LG 2003 R utilizes the three jaw, small gripper head option. This separate head/actuator concept permits use of the Lanco rotary module LR as the rotary actuator option. With this set-up, the actuator remains stationary while only the gripper head rotates, thus tubing and wiring remain stationary.

Also available is the spring plunger option that allows the gripper to be operated as single-acting, normally opened or normally closed. It may also be used as a safety feature; in the event of loss of air pressure the jaws may be maintained open or closed.

As with the entire line of Lanco handlers, the gripper module LG makes use of the standard locating ring for mounting to other modules.
